Neil Nitin Mukesh, grandson of the late veteran singer Mukesh and son of Nitin Mukesh has realized and one cannot go against their genes. If one would refresh their memory, Mukesh saab came to Mumbai to become an actor but it was singing that he ultimately took to.

Neil demonstrated that singing is part of Mukesh’s family, when he sang the promotional song for Jehangir Surti’s, “Aa Dekhen Zara”, where this lead actor is cast opposite Bipasha Basu. The song in question is the remixed version of the famous “Aa Dekhen Zara, kismein kitna hain dum” number from the Sanjay Dutt and Tina Munim starrer Rocky. The music for Surti’s film has been composed by Pritam, who has remixed the song, which was originally composed by RD Burman and sung by Kishore Kumar and adding a little bit of rap and other modern elements to the song. Neil has sung the song along with Gaurav Dasgupta. This song, like the original, will be oozing attitude. The song has been choreographed by Ahmed Khan and the film is produced by Eros Pictures. So we may soon have a singing star in our midst. That would definitely make his grandfather happy.

After Farhan Akhtar its Neil who will be singing and also be featured in the song. It seems like soon our film industry will be following the old ways where the actors used to sing for themselves.. 😀
